Nectar Collectar

Made for Drop Bear Mini Jam 2

This is a game about a hummingbird looking to collect as much nectar as it can.

***CONTROLS***

• WASD to move
• Space to dash
• Press and hold Enter to drink from a flower

All art and music were made by me! You can download some of them in the Nectar Collectar asset pack.

***POST JAM UPDATE!***

I've made a few tweaks to make the game more friendly to play. I have also added the wonderful CrayonLibre font by GGBotNet.

• You now use [Enter] to drink from flowers
• You can now drink nectar from slightly further away
• Fixed a bug making it difficult to drink when 2 flowers were close together.
• The rate at which you drain energy is now slower.
• Removed some left-over collision from flowers.

***WHATS NEXT?***

I'm working a major update to add some more variety to the gameplay (including different varieties of flower), and to add in a score board so you can see who across the globe has collected the most nectar!
